The new OrderMonger.com - An Upgraded Experience

We are happy to announce that we have launched an upgrade to our site at http://www.OrderMonger.com. We had gotten a lot of usability feedback from our customers, and after having taken that into consideration and done something about it, we now present you a revamped offering – one that we hope is much simpler to use, faster and more user-friendly. You can now look for restaurants by cuisine/category, find flowers based on arrangement, and even search for your favorite items across all our offerings. If you want to select items for delivery from multiple offerings, say flowers and cake for a birthday, or Dinner from one restaurant and Dessert from another, you can now do all of that in a single order.

To order food, click on the Food button, choose your cuisine and find the one of interest and click to see their menu. Or if you are just in the mood for a nice plate of Biryani but don’t know where to get it from, use our Search box to locate all restaurants that serve Biryani and take your pick. We think you might like our Flowers page – click on Flowers, choose the arrangement you want and click on any of the arrangements that you like. You can step through all the arrangements without having to go back and add it to your cart right from there. And we’ve also done a lot of work to improve ease-of-use for our Groceries offering. The catalog should much faster, adding items to your cart should be simple and Search will be your best friend when all attempts to locate an item fail. We know that ordering Groceries was rather painful until now, and we apologize – we sincerely hope we have addressed that. But really, it is important that you feel the same way about the changes we have made, so please give it a try and continue to give us your valuable feedback.

Look out for our Diwali specials coming next week - Thanks as always for your support!

One year anniversary

Today, we complete our first year of operations and it is a terrific feeling to look back at our journey over the last 12 months. Our objective was to make it easy for our customers to quickly find what they needed, tell us when they wanted it and forget about it - the rest was up to us, and we would bring it to their doorstep. That journey is obviously a very long one and we are just getting started, but we believe that we've taken some significant steps towards that goal.

Sure, we've made our share of mistakes along the way, but we hope that we've learned from
those mistakes and put measures in place with the goal of never repeating them again. Quite clearly, we couldn't have come as far along as we have without the valuable and wonderful support we have received from our customers, and for that, we shall remain eternally grateful. Thank you! And we'd also like to take a moment to salute our awesome partners, who have worked so well with us in meeting our customers' expectations and ensuring that the quality levels of service aren't compromised. We have much bigger things in store for the coming year, and we hope to have your continued support in making those a reality.

New restaurants added...

Over the last week, we added 6 new restaurant partners in Hyderabad to expand our portfolio even further - as with our existing partners, the new ones also promise outstanding quality, taste and variety. The restaurants that we added are:

Awaana - one of the newest restaurants in town. Malaysian cuisine is their specialty. Watch out for specials from OrderMonger and Awaana shortly.

Noodle Bar - the go-to place for an unbelievable bowl of Noodles. Their make-your-own-bowl is a must-have, we strongly urge you to try it.

Bombay Blue - With a truly international menu, they provide some outstanding fare. Probably the only restaurant that has Pizza, Pasta, Enchiladas, Falafel, Pita bread, Biryani and Bombay chat, all under the same roof. Definitely worth a shot!

Copper Chimney- Not exactly a new comer in the world of restaurants, their Mumbai restaurants have earned acclaim the world over. And now they are here in the city of the Nawabs, taking you back to Moghul times on a journey of culinary delight.

Silver Spoon - This incredibly homely restaurant in Banjara Hills serves North Indian, Tandoori and Hyderabadi cuisine...but what truly sets them apart is their specialty, delicacies from Coastal Andhra Pradesh. If you ask for spicy food here, you'll get what you ask for, so beware!

Havmor - A popular hangout of the Ohris family, they serve some of the best ice-creams and shakes in Hyderabad. Also popular for their burgers, sandwiches and a variety of other snacks, their trademark dish is the Chole Bature!

Needless to say, we have no intentions of stopping here - we continue to look for like-minded partners in an effort to bring the best of Hyderabad's dining establishments to your living room. In the meantime, we hope you'll get the chance to enjoy the experience that these new additions provide...Happy Dining!
