Expanded coverage in Hyderabad - now in Kukatpally

Sorry about the long silence on our end. We have been busy expanding our coverage in Hyderabad and have recently added Kukatpally and its neighborhood to our list. With the new restaurants that we've added in this area, you can now find us listed in all the following areas - KPHB, Kukatpally, Miyapur, Medinaguda, Chandanagar, Lingampally all the way up to BHEL. A lot of you have been asking us to add these areas to our list, and we are finally happy to let you know that we've addressed this need. Our list of restaurants in this area include Swagath, Mushroom, Vindu, Malgudi, Anupama and a Subway (our first one). Sorry about the long silence on our end - its been a rather busy past couple of weeks. In addition to the incredibly heavy volumes we had to handle for Valentine's day, we were also working on putting the finishing touches on our site upgrade, and the results are for you to evaluate at http://beta.ordermonger.com. With this release, we'll be available in more than just Hyderabad. We are adding our first service in 4 other cities - Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi & Pune. Once we launch the new site, you'll be able to sign up from these other cities and avail all our services in Hyderabad...and you'll also be able to send flowers to your friends and family in any of these cities. Asal - The new-age Executive Boxed Lunch option

For those of who that are tired of the routine lunch you get at work, Asal, a new boxed lunch offering is now available for the Hyderabadi corporate citizen. Asal is from the same folks that bring you the wonderful Pizzas and Pastas at Little Italy - however, don't let that confuse you because the meal is as desi as it gets.

It comes in an elegantly packed plastic container, covered of course. The meal comprises salad, 3-4 rotis, dal, 3 curries (2 dry and 1 wet), plain rice, papad, raitha and some fresh fruit. The container has compartments for each of these items, so it makes for very convenient eating right at your desk and it'll be hard to leave a mess. And there are minor customization changes that you can make to the meal if you so desire. As for the cost, the lunch is priced at Rs. 65 and is delivered to your office. You could return the box in clean condition for a 10-rupee refund, but it's going to be quite a challenge cleaning that box, so it'll be a hard-earned 10 rupees for sure. Basil
A completely vegetarian restaurant. Basil is located in the Lumbini mall @ Banjara Hills. They have some exotic Indian, Chinese and Continental fare on their menu, definitely worth a try...


Tandoor
The best of Punjabi cuisine, now in Hyderabad. Soak in the aromas and enjoy the delectable and sumptuous flavors that’ll make you wish for more!


Haveli
Located in the Lifestyle building in Begumpet, they offer a fine multi-cuisine dining experience. Given how busy the restaurant typically is, the home delivery option is certainly worth considering! :)

Biryani Zone
As the name suggests, the Biryani occupies pride of place here...but they have an interesting array of other North Indian dishes on their menu as well, and some Chinese cuisine on offer. And they are definitely lighter on the wallet!

If the item names are a little too ethnic, we hope the tool tips will provide a more detailed description of each item. Tell us if you like the food!

This is as close to Punjab as you are going to get from Hyderabad. For those of you that want to know where they are located, they are in the White House building next to Lifestyle in Begumpet. But why bother with all that traffic when you can simply order online?
